Support my journey: A request for your generosity.
Hello, My name is Breana Famble, and I am the daughter of Angel Martin-Cantlope and Byron Famble Sr. I am currently a senior at Fairfield Senior High School, with plans to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
I am honored to have the opportunity to participate in the Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Debutante Cotillion. Since its inception in 1993, this chapter has helped countless young women pursue higher education by awarding nearly $300,000 in scholarships.
The Debutante Cotillion scholarship program is designed to support dedicated high school students as they further their academic journeys. In addition to providing scholarships, the program helps participants like myself build self-confidence, celebrate our achievements, and open doors to new opportunities. To sustain this program and its scholarships, participants rely on the generosity of donations, journal ads, and gala ticket sales.
I am reaching out to request your support as I strive for the title of Miss Debutante 2024-2025. Your contribution will have a meaningful impact on my future and provide invaluable support for my education. In the fall of 2025, I plan to attend a four-year university to pursue a career in biomedical engineering. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring me one step closer to achieving my academic and professional goals.
Your support not only helps me, but it also contributes to the continued success of the scholarship program and the empowerment of young women in our community. I truly appreciate your generosity, as it plays a vital role in the advancement of education and the future of our youth.
The final day to make donations is March 9, 2025. For additional submissions options please contact me with the information at the bottom of this page.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
Cotillion Gala

The cotillion is a formal event where young women introduce themselves to society. It does and will include traditional dancing, etiquette training, and social skills for each and every environment.
I am deeply grateful and genuinely thrilled to have the privilege of becoming a debutante, as this remarkable opportunity presents a unique chance to acquire a multitude of valuable skills. these skills will not only contribute to my personal growth but also help me evolve into a more thoughtful and compassionate individual in various aspects of my life. I firmly believe that the knowledge and abilities I am gaining throughout this experience will serve to enhance my relationships. Allowing me to become a better friend, colleague, daughter, and family member.
The training and guidance I am receiving as a debutante are designed to shape me into a poised and refined young woman, emphasizing sophistication and elegance. Many of the lessons I have already learned have opened my eyes to the significance of seemingly small details, and I now realize how these finer aspects of life are often noticed by others as well. This newfound awareness is helping me cultivate a sense of mindfulness that I know will be invaluable in both my personal and professional life.
As I continue on this journey, I am confident that this experience will not only enable me to become a more self-aware and considerate person but also equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support and uplift others. I am committed to applying the lessons I have learned to all of my future endeavors, with the ultimate goal of becoming a positive force in the lives of those around me.
Striving to be a better version of myself is a continuous goal that I hold dear, and I am dedicated to working tirelessly toward this aspiration.
About me

My name is Breana Famble, and I am the daughter of Angel Martin-Cantlope and Byron Famble Sr. I am currently a senior at Fairfield Senior High School, where I have been an active member of the women’s soccer team, track and field, and the Fairfield Optimist Soccer Club. In addition to my extracurricular activities, I have gained valuable work experience at Olive Garden and Men’s Wearhouse. These positions have helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, time management, and a deeper understanding of various industries, as well as personal growth.
Looking ahead to the fall of 2025, I plan to attend a four-year college to earn my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. I am excited to immerse myself in campus life by joining various organizations and continuing to grow both academically and personally.
I am passionate about becoming a biomedical engineer because, when you look around at the world, everything—from the simplest objects to the most complex systems—has been designed and created by an engineer. I want to be part of the team that turns the impossible into reality. Specifically, I am drawn to biomedical engineering because it allows me to combine my desire to help people with my creativity and technical skills. I am particularly interested in developing innovations for the human body. One idea that has always intrigued me is the possibility of creating brain implants or prosthesis to aid those suffering from brain injuries. Although this may seem far-fetched, it reminds me of how many groundbreaking inventions, like the pacemaker, were once deemed impossible.
By pursuing a career in biomedical engineering, I hope to contribute to advancing medical technology, improving lives, and proving that with determination and innovation, what once seemed impossible can become a reality.
